View a Sample of the Questions in Excel
Step | Process |
1. | Input the Quiz Name and Introduction |
2. | Write the questions and answers for your quiz in two separate columns in Excel (questions in the first column, and answers in the second column) |
| NOTE: The Excel Table cells cannot contain any paragraph marks or quotation marks. Quotation marks can be replaced in Excel (" -> "). Paragraph marks cannot be removed in Excel. To remove paragraph marks, copy and paste the table into Word and find and replace (^p -> <br>). |
3. | Copy the question and answer columns from Excel and paste them into the box provided above |
| NOTE: The quiz matching option columns will be automatically randomized everytime the quiz is accessed. |
4. | Press "Preview Quiz" button |
5. | Compete the question and answer field and select the correct answers |
| NOTE: This will open your customized quiz in a new window. |
6. | Access the "View" menu on your custom quiz window and select the "Source" option |
| NOTE: A third window displaying the HTML for your quiz will appear. |
7. | Access the "File" menu on the HTML code window and select the "Save As" option |
| NOTE: A "Save As" pop-up window will appear. |
8. | Browse to the appropriate folder (see example below step 9) |
9. | Input a file name for your custom quiz (EXAMPLE: Jan15.html) |
10. | Press the "Save" button |
11. | Save and publish your quiz |
